Victorinox warrants its knives, cutlery and tableware, personal care products, sharpening tools and kitchen utensils against material or manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the product. The carve-outs are where claims fail. Electronic components — USB flash drives, LED lights — and accessories such as paracords, lanyards, chains, pouches, gloves, clips, straps, knife blocks and booklets, plus small leather goods, are not on the lifetime warranty at all; they carry the Victorinox Two-Year Warranty. Brand collection and third-party branded products are likewise two years. Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage are excluded outright, so a blade dulled by use or a scuffed scale is not a claim. Victorinox repairs or replaces at its discretion, and if it replaces, the replacement inherits only the remaining original warranty period rather than starting fresh. Two practical points most owners miss: Victorinox may charge a handling fee even on a covered lifetime-warranty repair, and it cannot guarantee the product will look the same afterwards — repairs restore intended functionality, not appearance. “If the product cannot be repaired, Victorinox reserves the right to replace it with an identical or equivalent model. Upon such replacement, the original remaining warranty period will continue to be in effect for the replacement product.”
Remedy
“The Victorinox Lifetime Warranty applies only to products that were purchased from Victorinox or an authorized Victorinox seller, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Victorinox reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for products purchased from unauthorized sellers.”

Cómo reclamar
Contact Victorinox, an authorized Victorinox seller, or your nearest Victorinox service center — the service center route is the fastest. You must either ship the product in or take it to a service center; Victorinox covers the return shipping back to you but not the leg in. Have proof of purchase available, and note that the warranty only applies to product bought from Victorinox or an authorized seller, so a marketplace knife may be rejected outright. If the repair turns out not to be covered, Victorinox will come back with an estimate for the repair and return shipping before proceeding.

- Escala externamente: la garantía de la plataforma de venta, PROFECO (México), la fiscalía de tu estado o la FTC (EE. UU.). El juzgado de menor cuantía es el último recurso.
