Garantía
Lodge's Made Right limited lifetime warranty covers seasoned cast iron and carbon steel — Classic Cast Iron, Chef Collection, Blacklock and Seasoned Carbon Steel — for normal household use. If the pan cracks or warps in the normal course of cooking, Lodge replaces it free with a similar product or one of equal value if yours is discontinued. It also covers manufacturing quality problems that most people assume they are stuck with: excessive grind or chatter marks that inhibit performance, holes in the casting, metallic projections and other casting defects, plus anything that arrives damaged in its shipping container. What it does not cover is the entire category of problems cast iron owners actually have — rust, pitting, roughness, sticky seasoning, flaking and odours are all excluded, and Lodge notes most of these are fixable with troubleshooting rather than replacement. Small cosmetic blemishes inherent to sand casting and hand finishing are likewise not defects. Three things void the warranty outright: washing in the dishwasher, soaking in water, or microwaving. Coverage runs to the original individual purchaser or a gift recipient, and never to commercial use.

Cómo reclamar
Work through Lodge's troubleshooting advice first — rust, sticky seasoning and flaking are explicitly not warranty matters and Lodge will point you back to re-seasoning. If the problem is a crack, a warp or a casting defect, fill out the form on the Returns and Troubleshooting page. Lodge may ask for photographs of the defect, or ask you to return the product at Lodge's expense, so do not ship anything unprompted. Replacement is at Lodge's option.
