Garantía
Lodge's Made Right limited lifetime warranty on USA Enamel and Essential Enamel covers normal household use: if enameled cast iron chips, cracks or is otherwise damaged during cooking, Lodge replaces it free with a similar product or one of equal value if yours is discontinued — though it cannot guarantee the same colour. Damage in the shipping container is also covered. The exclusion list is where enamel claims die: colour defects, rust, staining, scuffing, powdery surfaces and rough surfaces are all outside the warranty, inside the pot or out, as are colour changes from high heat, which Lodge states plainly is not a flaw. Six specific acts void coverage entirely, and they are easy to do by accident — heating the pan empty on the stovetop, using metal utensils, using citrus-based cleaners (including some detergents), stacking pieces without protectors, using it on a campfire or in a microwave, and using it on heat sources that cannot be easily controlled such as charcoal or wood pellet grills. Coverage runs to the original individual purchaser or a gift recipient, never to commercial use.

- Damage from use in commercial establishments, accidents, drops, mishandling, misuse, neglect or overheating
- Damage caused by melted items or external sources, and residues from abrasive cleaners or polishes
- Small cosmetic blemishes inherent to sand casting and hand finishing
- Voided by heating empty cookware on the stovetop, metal utensils, citrus-based cleaners, stacking without protectors, campfires or microwaves, and uncontrollable heat sources such as charcoal or wood pellet grills
Cómo reclamar
Fill out the applicable form on Lodge's Returns and Troubleshooting page. Lodge may ask for photographs of the defect or ask you to return the piece at Lodge's expense — wait to be told rather than shipping it. Be precise that the damage happened during the normal course of cooking, since that is the covered condition, and be aware Lodge will look for the voiding behaviours: metal utensil scratches, stacking chips, and empty-pan heating all leave recognisable marks.
