Garantía

LG covers its LCD, LED and OLED televisions for one year parts and one year labor from the date of original consumer purchase, repairing or replacing the set at LG's option. The warranty runs to the original purchaser only and is valid in the United States excluding U.S. Territories — note that this is narrower than LG's refrigerator warranty, which does include the Territories. Two exclusions decide most TV claims. Image burn-in is expressly not covered, which is the single most common OLED complaint. And dead pixels are effectively pre-disclaimed: LG states its displays contain hundreds of thousands of pixels, that a small number typically do not function normally, and that a set passing inspection is in compliance with specification. Replacement units and repair parts may be new or factory remanufactured and carry only the remaining portion of the original period, not a fresh year. Before calling, expect to be asked for model number, serial number and date of purchase — and in some cases for a credit card, as a deposit for advance shipment or against an unreturned loaner.

Cómo reclamar
Consumers call LG at 1-800-243-0000 for repair or replacement instructions; commercial users call (888) 865-3026. Keep the dealer's dated bill of sale or delivery ticket — you must hand a copy to the service technician at the time of service. Service is provided through LG Electronics Alabama, the authorized US service center. If you are returning a unit to the Factory Service Center you must obtain a Return Authorization first, or you risk unnecessary charges; if you receive a replacement, ship the defective unit back in that replacement's carton and packaging.
